We’re inspired by the 2025 Genesis GV80’s robust engine options: a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-4 producing 304 horsepower and a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 delivering 380 horsepower. Both are paired with a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The GV80 offers quick acceleration and confident handling that make every drive feel refined yet powerful.

The Mercedes GLE also offers a range of engines, including a mild-hybrid inline-6 and high-output AMG variants. However, its heavier structure can dull the driving experience. In contrast, the GV80’s responsive powertrains and athletic chassis give us the edge in daily performance and long-distance cruising.

Inside the 2025 Genesis GV80, we’re treated to a next-generation 27-inch OLED display that elegantly combines the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system into one seamless panel. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rotary drive mode selector, shift-by-wire controls, and fingerprint authentication make every interaction intuitive and secure.

While the GLE offers its own premium MBUX interface with voice commands and augmented reality navigation, its split-screen layout feels less modern and requires more menu diving. The GV80’s elegant, unified interface and tech features feel more intuitive and future-forward.

We built the 2025 Genesis GV80 with safety at its core. Eleven advanced driver-assistance features come standard, including forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring with view monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and remote smart parking assist. These systems work together to provide a safer, more confident driving experience.

Mercedes also equips the GLE with several advanced safety features, but many are optional or reserved for higher trims. The GV80 provides a more comprehensive package right from the start—no extra packages needed to enjoy peace of mind.
